Charles Morton White

Charles Morton White of New Windsor, formerly of Fishkill and Cold Spring, passed away on November 3, 2004 at the age of 68. White was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on September 7, 1936, son of Charles D. and Louise G. (Hensley) White. He graduated from Wappingers Central Schools.

Charles was a member of the First Reformed Church of Fishkill. He was a member of the Philipstown Masonic Lodge for 47 years, where he served as past Master and had a 25-year perfect attendance record. White was also a member of the BPOE #247 in Newburgh.

Charles Morton White is survived by two aunts, Elizabeth Hensley of Ambridge, PA and Peggy White of New Windsor, NY, as well as several cousins. The relatives send a special acknowledgement to Robert and Peggy Lare for their care and loving devotion to Charles.

The funeral was held at Robert H. Acuhmoody Funeral Homes in Fishkill on Monday, November 8th, with interment following at Hopewell Cemetery. Donations in Mr. White’s memory can be made to the First Reformed Church , 55 Main Street, Fishkill, NY 12524.
