Wanna Be on MTV’s "MADE" Show? Howland Library Hosting Audition Are you… "The city girl who dreams of competing in a horse show? Think you’re the school’s ugly duckling and want to turn into the homecoming king/queen? Or maybe you have a unique goal of your own!" Tori Asness and the MTV casting crew will be at Howland Public Library in Beacon on Thursday, September 9th from 3-5 pm to interview teens who would like to apply to be on their popular "MADE" show. MTV’s hit series "MADE" is all about making dreams come true. There are numerous kids right in the Hudson Valley with unlimited potential but, in their eyes, there are intimidating obstacles that are keeping them from pursuing their dream. MTV is seeking kids who want to overcome those obstacles. If you appear to be between 15 and 21 and you want to be "Made", come tell MTV about it. Explain what your goal is, why you think you can make it, and why you need MTV to help you reinvent yourself. MTV will give you the tools to pursue your dream - the coach, the trainer, the tutor, whatever - and you’ll do the rest. They allow for at least one month of intensive training towards achieving a goal. Ideally, teens will learn valuable traits and lessons about themselves and others, and learn that it takes hard work, persistence and commitment to make one’s dreams come true. So, if you fit the description, come to Howland Public Library on Sept. 9th and try out. They are not considering "fame-seeker" such as singers or rappers. Please call Ginny Figlia at the library if you have any questions at 831-1134, ext. 103. |
