Mary Ellen DeGelormo

Mary Ellen DeGelormo, age 74, a former long time Cold Spring resident, died on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on June 13, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Monahan) Bradley.

Mrs. DeGelormo was a homemaker. She had been a resident of Cold Spring for 46 years before retiring to Sanford, Florida in 1999.

Mrs. DeGelormo is survived by her husband, James J. DeGelormo of the home address, two daughters, Yolanda Vitek of Hopewell Junction, and Cindy Mora of Lake Mary, FL. Two brothers, Joseph Bradley of Philadelphia, PA and Thomas Bradley of Nelsonville, and two sisters, Katherine Joyner of Williamsville, NY and Suzanne Lisotta of Cold Spring. Six grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive her. Two brothers, Edward Bradley Jr. and John Bradley, and one sister, Agnes Supple, predeceased her.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, August 22nd at Our Lady of Loretto Church, Fair Street, Cold Spring. Interment followed in Cold Spring Cemetery. Donations in Mrs. DeGelormo’s name may be made to The American Lung Association 35 Orchard St. White Plains, NY 10603 or a charity of your choice.
