Maria C. Benjumea

Maria C. Benjumea (‘Tina’) died on Saturday December 10, 2005 at her residence in Garrison. She was 33. Born in Armenia, Colombia on July 19, 1972 she was the daughter of Luis Benjumea and Ruby Ortez. Tina was the Art Director for 360 Degree Consumer, a consumer advertising and innovative research company she and her husband founded and operated. She was also a member of the National Geographic Society.

Survivors include her husband O.H. Perry Baldwin, III of the home address. Her father of Newark, NJ, her mother and step father Manuel Garcia of Port Chester. Her maternal Grand Mother Lucila Cardona of Colombia. Two step children Emily and Perry Baldwin. Two brothers Juan Carlos Benjumea of Colombia, and Andres Aguirra of Port Chester. One sister Claudia Benjumea of Colombia.

Private cremation took place in Ferncliff Crematory in Hartsdale. A celebration of Tina’s life will take place at the Clinton Funeral Home, corner of Parrott and Pine Streets Cold Spring on Saturday December 17, 2005 from 1 to 3 pm. Family and friends are invited. In lieu of flowers donations in Maria’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society Putnam County Unit 220 Route 6 Mahopac, NY 10541. Arrangements are under the direction of the Clinton Funeral Home Cold Spring.
