Friends of Fishkill Road Seek Clean Up Assistance
Friends of Fishkill Road will again be out in force to clean up Fishkill Road on Saturday, November 19th. The group will meet at 8 am at the east end (by the N. Highlands Fire Department) and continue down the road until finished.
The group has been working together to clean up the road for the past two years. Prior to that, Robert Vargo, Jr. did the road by himself. Robert was actually the original person who got Putnam County into the Adopt-a-Highway program and was also able to get other groups to adopt other roads.
Organizers say, “we welcome volunteers to help us clean up. We welcome anyone to stop and give us a hand even an hour or two. The more the merrier!”
If you have any questions or would like any further information, please contact Kim Vargo at 845-206-7433.
