 | | Left to right: Gail Sullivan, Community Director for Lakeland East Girl Scouts; Pat Gannon, Treasurer for Lakeland East Girl Scouts, both of Mahopac. Amylee Montague, the proud mom is from Verplanck. |
| Each year the Girl Scouts of America present a gift to the first baby girl born at Hudson Valley Hospital Center on October 31. This year, twins were born to James and Amylee Montague of Verplanck. The lovely gift basket was in honor of Gianna Angelina. Her brother, James Christopher, Jr. will, no doubt, share with his sister! After their birth, the twins received care in the Hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit where mom and dad could keep the babies nearby.
Halloween is a special date for the Girl Scout organization because it is the birthday of their founder, Juliette Gordon Low who was born October 31, 1860 in Savannah, Georgia.
