Celebrate Christmas and New Year’s at Graymoor
Celebrate the joy and solemnity of Christmas and New Year’s with the Franciscan Friars of the Atonement at Graymoor.
The Christmas at Graymoor retreat begins Friday, December 23rd with supper and ends Christmas Day after mid-day dinner. The New Year’s on the Mountain retreat begins Friday, December 30th with supper and ends New Year’s Day after the mid-day meal.
Cost for each retreat is $105/ person double occupancy, $145/person single occupancy. All meals are included.

Christmas Eve at Graymoor begins at 4:30 pm with First Vespers of Christmas and the Blessing of the outdoor Creche. Ending after Mass at Midnight, it includes a festive Christmas Eve dinner.
New Year’s Eve at Graymoor begins at 5 pm with Vespers. Ending with a torchlight procession at midnight from the top of the “Holy Mountain” to Pilgrim Hall where the first Mass of the New Year will be celebrated; it includes dinner, a conference, exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, and an opportunity for quiet prayer.

The Franciscan Friars of the Atonement, whose motherhouse is at Graymoor, is a Roman Catholic religious community with pastoral, social, and ecumenical ministries on three continents. Graymoor is located in Garrison on Route 9, five miles north of Peekskill and thirteen miles south of I84. There is ample free parking.
