Mary Arquilla Fischer

Mary Arquilla Fischer of Cold Spring, NY died in her home on December 9, 2005.

Fischer was a retired hat designer and floor supervisor for Dorel Hats in Beacon She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America.

Ms. Fischer was born in Beacon, NY to Valentine Arquilla and Anna Pomarico Arquilla.

Mary Arquilla Fischer is survived by her loving husband, William Fischer, who survives at home. Also surviving are three brothers Augustine Arquilla, Joseph Arquilla and Vincent Arquilla all of Beacon, her sister; Geraldine Arquilla also of Beacon, several nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Anna Penzetta.

Services were held on Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at 10 am at St. Joachim’s Roman Catholic Church, 57 Leonard St. Beacon, NY with Fr. David Nolan officiated. Interment followed at St. Joachim’s Cemetery, Beacon.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corps., One Arquilla Dr., Beacon, NY 12508 or to a charity of one’s choice.
