Mary E. Dillon

Mary E. Dillon, Age 90, of Cold Spring, NY, died on Thursday January 12, 2006 at her residence in Cold Spring.

Born in Croton-on-Hudson, NY on January 23, 1915 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Pauline (Grasso) Ciccarelli.

Mrs. Dillon was a homemaker, a parishioner of Our Lady of Loretto Church, and had been a resident of Cold Spring for the past 70 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Bernard J. Dillon who died in 1975. She is survived by three sons, Bernard F. Dillon of Beacon, NY, Thomas E. Dillon of Naples, FL and Daniel R. Dillon of Cold Spring; three daughters, RoseMarie Nobile of Cold Spring, Marcia A. DiCastro of Cold Spring and Bernice A. Pega of Hopewell Jct., NY; two sisters, Angela Miccio of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Marie Chicarella of Poughkeepsie, NY. Thirteen grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren also survive. She was predeceased by two sisters, Mildred Ruzich and Josephine Ciccarelli and one brother, Thomas Ciccarelli.

A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Monday, January 16, 2006 at Our Lady of Loretto Church, Cold Spring at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to be made in Mrs. Dillon’s name to the Philipstown Little League, P. O. Box 347 Cold Spring, NY.
