Mary Ann Nagy MacDonald

Mary Ann Nagy MacDonald, age 80, of Cold Spring, NY died on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Cortlandt Manor, NY.

Born in the Bronx, NY on September 21, 1925, she is the daughter of the late Anthony and Emily (Faulhaber) Valentinetti.

Mrs. MacDonald was very active in St. Mary's Church in the Highlands, having served as Treasurer of the church for many years. She was also an active member and former Recording Secretary of Philipstown Senior Citizens.

Mrs. MacDonald is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Donald H. MacDonald, a nephew (Godson) and niece,

Ed and Robin Lockwood, and great niece and nephew, Rachel and Phil Lockwood. Two aunts, Margaret Lockwood and Helen Corbin, and a cousin-in-law, Kenneth MacDonald, also survive her.

A Funeral Mass was held at St. Mary's Church in the Highlands on Monday, April 17th followed by interment at Cold Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Mrs. MacDonald's name to St. Mary's Church in the Highlands, 1 Chestnut Street, Cold Spring, NY 10516. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Clinton Funeral Home, 21 Parrott St., Cold Spring, NY.
