Anne Wright

Anne Flynn Wright, 90, of Cold Spring, died May 10, 2006. She was born in Yonkers, NY on the 4th of July, 1915, to Thomas and Anna (O'Hara) Flynn. She lived in Peekskill, Garrison, and 27 years in Cold Spring. Anne married Arthur C. Wright on July 5, 1934.

Anne was a member of the 3rd Order of St. Frances, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Division 10. She served on the Butterfield Hospital Auxiliary for 25 years, and was elected to the Auxiliary Hospital Board for ten years. She was a member of the Highland Garden Club, Mother Lurena Group, and Philipstown Senior Citizens. Anne Wright was a member of the Women of St. Philips, and she was a communicant of Our Lady of Loretta Church.

Anne is survived by her daughter JoAnne (Gary) Chadwick, of Garrison, grandchildren, Brett (Kelly) Chadwick, of Highland Falls, and Brooke Chadwick, of Garrison. She was predeceased by her husband, Arthur C. Wright, who died on August 2, 1991, her son, Arthur Jr., and her sisters: Mildred Lamance and Florence Crowley, her brothers: John James Flynn and Thomas Flynn.

The family received friends on Monday, May 15, 2006 at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home in Peekskill. A Mass Christian Burial was held on Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Our Lady of Loretta Church, in Cold Spring, NY, followed by internment in St. Mary's Cemetery in Yonkers. NY.
