Economic Development Council Plans Business and Community Sidewalk Sale Coinciding with GAC Event

The Western Putnam Economic Development Council Marketing Committee is sponsoring a Cold Spring Sidewalk Sale for Thursday, August 17th through Sunday, August 20th to coincide with the Garrison Art Center Art & Craft Sale.

With the advent of the new trolley between Garrison and Cold Spring, Art & Craft sale attendees will now have the opportunity to explore Cold Spring easily without moving their cars or taking the train. The Art Center's annual event always draws large crowds from outside the community and the committee encourages village residents to take advantage of the influx and have yard and tag sales of their own. The individual sales events will increase the opportunities for visitors (and residents) to pick up a bargain.
