Jazz Vespers Features Celtic Flair This Saturday

Make St. Patrick's Day a twoday celebration by coming to this special Celtic themed Jazz Vespers this Saturday, March 18th at 5:30 pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown, 10 Academy Street, Cold Spring.

Uilleann piper Seth Gallagher will join the band lead by Tom McCoy on piano, with singer Deb Gromack, Mike LaRocco on drums, Gwen Laster on violin, and Damon Banks on bass to bring a Celtic flair to the jazz music.

Under the leadership of the church's outstanding musical director and pianist Tom McCoy, who has played on Broadway and national television, the jazz is some of the finest to be heard in the area. All selections are original arrangements by Tom McCoy.

The Rev. Leslie Mott will conduct the brief service.

If you love jazz, you may want to hear and experience the beauty of this one-hour service. It's a great way to combine wonderful music and spirituality. The Jazz Vespers service is free and open to all.

All are also welcome to our traditional Sunday service held every Sunday at 10:30 am with Rev. Leslie Mott and Music Director Tom McCoy. For more information contact the First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown at 265-3220.
