| If you're thinking about Father's Day and need an idea for a present for your favorite dad, consider taking him to Hudson Valley Hospital Center's Do It For Dad Day, Sunday, June 11 from 10 am to 3 pm. Sponsored by the Hospital, the National Prostate Cancer Coalition, and others including Senator Vincent Leibell.
Do It For Dad Day is a day of free screenings and fun. The Road Knights Auto Club will be on site with an antique car display. It's a drive against prostate cancer with a 39-foot fully confidential van that will be parked on the hospital campus. And all the screenings are
free, along with free raffle prizes all day long. In addition to prostate screening, men can take advantage of stroke information, sports injury prevention, heart disease screening, cholesterol and blood sugar testing, body mass index, nutritional counseling and much more. Kacey from WHUD will be there to meet and greet. Refreshments provided by the Peekskill Lions Club.
Call the Hospital's health promotion office at 914-7343794 for more information. Bring the men you really care about to Hudson Valley Hospital Center on June 11. Early detection saves lives!
