WPEDC is Doing Great Work
To the editor,
On Wednesday July 26th I had the pleasure to attend a meeting of the Western Putnam Economic Development Council at the Meeting House. This particular meeting was for realtors and business landlords. I attended as the latter. Inured to jargon, I was pleasantly surprised at Marshall Mermell's and Marc Sabin's marketing approach. The presentation was truly interesting and I greatly appreciate their concern for the whole community not just the business community.
Most of all, this meeting was an opportunity for us to voice our concerns, herald success, mourn failure, to encourage good landlord practices and to affirm our love of the village of Cold Spring.
I urge all business owners, as well as residents to attend one of these presentations. Marc Sabin keeps the dialogue moving in a positive direction and all voices are heard.
I commend all the hard work the members of the WPEDC have done and are doing.
