Margaret "Peggy" Williams

Margaret "Peggy" Williams entered into rest at her home on Glynwood Farm, Cold Spring, on August 6, 2006 after a 30-year courageous battle with cancer. She was 49 years old.

Peggy was the daughter of Frank Terlizzi and the late Mary Terlizzi. She was born October 26, 1956 in Yonkers, NY. Her family relocated to Cold Spring in 1974 where she graduated from Haldane High School. She married Allen "Whitey" Williams on August 11, 1974 and soon after began her career as a jewelry manager for Service Merchandise. She was currently employed by Foodtown in Cold Spring as a customer service manager as well as working in the bakery department.

Peggy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Whitely Williams of Cold Spring, two sisters, Mary Minners of Cold Spring and Jean Martinec of Scotia, one brother, Michael Terlizzi of Highland Falls, her father, Frank Terlizzi of Cold Spring and many many adoring nieces and nephews.

Peggy will be remembered by all for her strong and courageous spirit, her warmth and generosity and her never ending devotion to her family and friends.

Peggy will be remembered in a private memorial service for family and close friends at a later date.
