Trail Run in Philipstown To Benefit Michael Shortell Memorial Fund
On September 16th, 2006 there will be a 5 kilometer trail run benefiting The Michael Shortell Memorial Fund. Michael Shortell was a Deputy Chief with the New York City Police Department who died during a storm last summer. The proceeds of the run will go to a scholarship in his honor. The run will start and finish at Mayors Park in Cold Spring and go two lops around Little Stony Point. There will be a Post Race party with food, drinks, music, and kid races. You do no have to run to be part of this special day. Entry forms can be printed from www. inmichaelshonor. com. Pre-registration is $15 and race day registration is $20. Race start is 11:00 am.
