Temple Beth-EL to Host Festive Sukkot dinner

On Sunday evening, October 8th, there will be a Sukkot dinner at Temple Beth-EI beginning at 5pm. This will be a festive dinner in celebration of the autumn holiday, and a way to show gratitude for the harvest season, the local farmers and the produce of the Hudson Valley. Dinner will be dairyvegetarian and will utilize local produce and dairy products.

Fees are as follows: TBE congregants $18 per person / $54 per family. Community members: $25 per person / $75 per family. The Temple is located at 118 Grand Avenue, Poughkeepsie. Mental Health Association in Dutchess County Announces Special Education 101 Workshop

The Mental Health Association in Dutchess County is pleased to present a workshop, "Special Education 101 "on Wednesday, October 11, 2006, from 6- 8pm at the Mental Health Association office, 510 Haight Avenue, Poughkeepsie.

This workshop is for families/ caregivers regarding your child's "special education" records. During this workshop they will begin to organize a

binder for your child's documents. Supplies will be provided. Karen Lynch, Parent & Support Group Facilitator, will present this workshop.

There is no fee for this workshop. However, pre-registration is required. Please call the Mental Health Association in Dutchess County for more information or to register at (845) 473-2500, ext. 308.
