Diabetic Neuropathy Treatment Focus of Putnam Hospital Center's Diabetes Support & Education Group
The next meeting of Putnam Hospital Center's free Diabetes Support & Education Group will be held on Tuesday, October 17th, at 6pm, in the ground floor cafe classrooms at the hospital, located at 670 Stoneleigh Avenue in Carmel.
"A New-Wave Therapy for Diabetic Neuropathy" will be presented by Putnam Hospital Center neurologist Michael Weintraub. A nationally known researcher in the field of neuropathy, Dr. Weintraub will discuss novel approaches to reducing foot discomfort using pulsed magnetic stimulation.
Family and friends are welcome to attend meetings of the free Diabetes Support & Education Group, which is designed to teach individuals how to keep their diabetes under control and to live a healthier life. The monthly meetings provide participants with an opportunity to hear from knowledgeable professionals and to network with others who have diabetes.
