Putnam County Office for the Aging to Hold Public Hearing on Needs of the Elderly

What are the needs of the older person in Putnam County and how can they best be met? The public is invited to respond to this question at a Public Hearing on Friday, October 27, 2006 at 10:30am at the Putnam County Office for the Aging Friendship Center, Donald B. Smith County Government Campus, 110 Old Route Six - Bldg. One in Carmel.

Interested parties will be given the opportunity to speak at the Public Hearing. Testimony will be limited to 10 minutes per speaker and will

be scheduled in the order in which they are received. Anyone wishing to speak may contact William Huestis at 225- 1034.

A written copy of your testimony must be presented prior to the hearing. An abstract of the plan will be available for public review prior to the hearings.

Discussions regarding Adult Day Services, Nutrition Programs, Legal Services, and other issues that affect the quality of life for the elderly will follow the formal hearing.
