Special Lecture on Understanding Breast Cancer Genetic Risk to be Held at Putnam Hospital Center
As part of its observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Putnam Hospital Center's Department of Oncology Services will sponsor a free special dinner program on breast cancer genetic risk.
The program, "Understanding Breast Cancer Genetic Risk," will be presented by Kelli Mayfarth, CGC, on Monday, October 23rd, and will offer
a basic understanding of what genes are and how they can affect the risk of disease.
The free program will be held in the ground floor cafe classrooms at Putnam Hospital Center, 670 Stoneleigh Avenue in Carmel, beginning at 6 pm; dinner will be provided.
