Free Stroke Program and Risk Assessment to be Held at Putnam Hospital Center
Putnam Hospital Center will offer a special program on "Stroke: What You Need to Know" on Wednesday, October 25th. The free program will be held from 6:30 to 8:00pm in the ground floor cafe classrooms at the hospital, located at 670 Stoneleigh Avenue in Carmel.
Putnam Hospital Center neurologist Suzanne Brown, DO, of Carmel-based Northeast
Neurology, will discuss the symptoms, diagnosis and treatment of stroke, the need for immediate medical care and how you can reduce your risk of having a stroke.
In addition to the program, blood pressure screening and individual stroke risk assessments will be offered.
