Pumpkin Carving at Stony Kill Farm

Carve your own jack-o-lantern at Stony Kill Farm Environmental Education Center on Saturday, October 14 at 2pm. Please pre-register by Thursday, October 12 by calling 845- 831-8780, ext 300. The whole family can learn about fall's favorite vegetable, the pumpkin while snacking on freshly harvested pumpkin seeds! Materials fee is $5 per pumpkin.

Stony Kill Farm Environmental Education Center is operated by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and is located on Route 9D in Wappingers Falls, two miles north of the Newburgh-Beacon Bridge. The seven miles of trails and grounds are open to the public from sunrise to sunset for hiking and nature enjoyment. Office hours are weekdays, 8:45am to 4:30pm, Saturdays, 9:30am to 4:30pm and Sundays (September and October) 1pm - 4pm..
