Putnam National Golf Course in Mahopac was the beautiful setting for the second annual Putnam Valley Federation of Teachers Community Golf Outing on Thursday, August 31st. Forty-four golfers and five organizers gathered for fun and to support a good cause. Proceeds for the outing go toward scholarships for graduating
seniors of Putnam Valley High School. The event had originally been scheduled for June 28th but had to be canceled due to torrential rain. Many local businesses donated prizes and money for the day's festivities. The PVFT extends its thanks to all those community members who helped out or participated in the outing.
