New Members Luncheon and Crossing Cultures Lecture at Temple Beth-El

There will be a New Members Luncheon for the congregation on Saturday October 28th following Shabbat services at which there will be a meet and greet for the newest members of Temple Beth-El. For more information contact the temple office at 454-0570.

On Friday and Saturday Oct. 27 and 28 the William and Sadie Effron Lecture Fund presents: Crossing Cultures: Sharing Jewish and Native American Traditions, featuring artists Nina Jaffe and Matoaka Little Eagle

Nina Jaffe is an award winning author, folklorist and storyteller who is internationally known for retellings of world folklore in picture books, collections and live performances. Matoaka Little Eagle is a storyteller and performer, and member of the Thunderbird American Indian Dancers. The program at Temple Beth-El will include stories, songs, performances and workshops both Friday evening and Saturday morning, afternoon and following Havdalah.
