Kelly's Ads are Like Watching a Shell Game

Watching Sue Kelly's attack ads is like watching a shell game. She says John Hall will raise our taxes! It is society's responsibility to take care of educating the next generation, and provide a safety net for orphans, foster kids, the aged and disabled.
We need to fund first responders adequately, and fund VA hospitals. (20,468 young people have been wounded in Iraq as of today.) By cutting funding for all of these things as Sue Kelly has done, the states either have to pick up the slack, or pass it down to us in the form of higher property taxes. That is the true meaning of "trickle down"!
Yes, she voted to cut taxesbut not yours and mine! She voted for tax cuts for millionaires. She voted against the " windfall profits" tax on the oil companies. She voted to privatize social security, which would have been a windfall for the brokerages, but would doom the social security safety net for our grandchildren.
She voted for the war from the beginning. (Talk about big spending!) She came into office 12 years ago (having campaigned for term limits, by the way). when this country had a huge surplus. We are now 8.5 trillion dollars in debt. If you don't think you and I (and descendants) won't have to pay the principal and the evermounting interest on that, you are kidding yourself. It is truly a time for change.
