Fire Prevention Week at Haldane
The week of October 9th was Fire Prevention Week at Haldane School. Firefighters from Cold Spring, Continental Village and Garrison presented age-appropriate assemblies to students in grades kindergarten through 12. Freddie the Fire truck and Sparky the Firedog made the day extra exciting. The Cold Spring Fire Department representatives were Chief Dan Valentine and
Firefighter Lillian Moser. Continental Village Chief Bill Rimm, 2nd Assistant Chief Charlie Balt and Firefighter Mario Depalma participated for Continental Village. The Garrison Fire Department members were Deputy Chief F.J. Spinelli, Chief Rodney Tudor, Captain Wendy Heintz, and Firefighters John Spada, Kevin Kapler, Shannon Schnaars, and Juow Paiva.
