Please Don't Litter!
Dear Editor:
Last Saturday seven of us led by Peter and Kim Vargo litterpatrolled Fishkill Road from Route 301 to Route 9. The 'yield' was some twenty eight 30-gallon bags. This job gets done twice a year. That's a lot of litter! For years, Peter and Kim did this job alone! Lately five of their relatives, none of whom live in Putnam County (!) - have helped them. Next Spring we hope that local residents will pitch in. Watch for notices in the paper (Peter and Kim have always paid for these ads themselves). Meanwhile...Please don't litter!...We're pooped!
