Second Annual Community Master Class at Yoga Co-Op

The Yoga Co-op at The Garrison is preparing for its second annual Community Master Class on Sunday, December 3, 2006 from 10am-12pm. Located at The Garrison Golf Club, the Yoga Co-op at The Garrison is following up with its wildly successful first community master class held last year that attracted over 55 yoga practitioners.

In an effort to coincide with the Garrison Union Free School theme for this year, "Healthy Mind, Healthy Body, Healthy World" the teachers at the yoga co-op are striving to get all within the community to begin or to strengthen their yoga practice and this master class is a terrific way to mingle with community members in a healthy and positive way. The class is an all-level class taught by the entire teaching team at

The Yoga Co-op and provides students a chance to experience the different styles of the teachers on the schedule.

The Yoga Co-op at The Garrison is a community-based, grass roots yoga studio formed and cooperatively run by 8 local yoga teachers. Unlike many other yoga studios, it is not owned by one person but is the collaborative effort of the group. Each teacher contributes his or her own special skills and talents to the operation of the studio and, in the true spirit of yoga, the structure of the coop fosters and supports the evolution of the collective whole.

For more information about the community master class or to reserve a spot, please call 224-9909 or e-mail us at yogacoop@gmail.com. Suggested donation is $5.
