'Coping with Holidays When You Are Grieving' Workshop
Hospice Care in Westchester & Putnam, Inc., and Putnam Hospital Center will cosponsor a free grief support workshop on Monday, November 27th. "Coping with the Holidays When You Are Grieving" will be presented by Victoria Assuma, ACSW, Hospice Director of Counseling, and is for anyone who is grieving the loss of a loved one and concerned about the approaching holidays.
The program will offer ways to gain the strength and support to cope with the extra demands of the holiday season while grieving and will include discussion on coping, bereavement, death, and grief as well as group interaction.
The program will be presented from 6:30 to 8:00pm in the ground floor café classrooms at Putnam Hospital Center, which is located at 670 Stoneleigh Avenue in Carmel. The workshop is free but preregistration is required by calling at 914-666-4228, Ext. 492.
