Health Department Holding Public Flu Clinic

Two Men Charged With Murder in Drowning in Brewster
      Chief Edward J. Welch of the New York City Department of Environmental Protection ("DEP") Police, Putnam County District Attorney Kevin Wright, and Putnam County Sheriff Donald B. Smith report that the death of a man found in a river in Brewster on November 29, 2006 has been ruled a murder.

Cold Spring Hydrants to be Flushed
      A hydrant flush in the Village of Cold Spring will take place beginning, Monday, December 11. The flush will be performed during the hours of 9pm to 3pm. The flush will be conducted by a private contractor, Lea-Rome, Inc. as part of certifying a new water line for the Cold Spring Landing project.
