Friends Network Honors Community Members at Annual Harvest Ball
The Friends Network. Inc., a Carmel based voluntary notfor profit organization that helps people with disabilities live fulfilling, meaningful, successful lives, recently honored several community members at its annual Friends Network Harvest Ball, held on November 4 at Ceola Manor in Jefferson Valley. The dinner and Chinese auction raised approximately $10,000 to support The Friends Network. Honorees received certificates from George Oros, Westchester
County Legislator; Regina Morini, Putnam County Legislator; and Senator Vincent Leibell.
The Friends Network provides people with disabilities the opportunity for community integration and friendships through a variety of structured social and educational activities held at various locations throughout Westchester and Putnam Counties. The Friends Network also offers an After School program for children with disabilities.
