Beacon Gingerbread Trail and Silent Auction for Bannerman Island

Take a walk down the Gingerbread Trail on Main Street, Beacon. Gingerbread houses are created by both professional and amateur bakers/artists. Houses are currently displayed at The Muddy Cup, Mountain Tops, The Bannerman Island Gallery, Sanctuary, RiverWinds and The Beacon Barkery.

Gingerbread houses will be sold through a silent auction with fifty percent of the proceeds benefiting the Bannerman Island preservation efforts by The Bannerman Castle Trust, Inc. Houses are on display through December 22nd. You can bid on a gingerbread house

at each participating store. Winning bidders can pick up their houses to take home for Christmas on December 23rd.

The 2nd annual Beacon Gingerbread Trail is sponsored by The Beacon Business Association and The Bannerman Island Gallery at Castle Keep Realty. Come help celebrate the holidays and visit the many fine shops in Beacon. Buy a gingerbread house and help The Bannerman Castle Trust, Inc. continue to preserve Bannerman Island-Hudson Highlands State Park. For further information, call Neil Caplan at 845-234-3204.
