Children of Loretto to Present Christmas Pageant and Sing-Along
This Saturday, December 16th at 2pm, the children of Our Lady of Loretto Parish will present their annual Christmas Pageant and Sing-Along in the Church of Our Lady of Loretto. Under the skillful direction of Mary Ellen Yannitelli, the Fifth Grade students of the Religious Education Program will perform “The Gift of St. Joseph (The Christmas Puzzle)” with students from the other grades taking on the roles of angels, shepherds, townsfolk, Roman soldiers and kings.
The pageant includes the familiar and much loved Christmas carols for all to join in. From “O’Little Town of Bethlehem” to “We Three Kings”, the songs of the Season will take the singers through the story of the birth of Jesus, with the Hebrew Prophets Micah, Hosea, Jeremiah and Isaiah guiding the way. This pageant is open to all, so please come and enjoy the afternoon.
