PARC Offers Holiday Dining Passport

PARC has teamed up with 20 of the area’s best-rated restaurants to offer a terrific gift this holiday season, the ‘Table for 2’ fine dining passport.

Table For 2 will introduce purchasers to the culinary delights of some of Putnam, Westchester, Dutchess and Orange Counties’ best restaurants while raising needed funds to help children and adults with developmental disabilities, autism, and traumatic brain injuries. A total of 20 restaurants are a part of this inaugural dining out passport, each one offering a 2 for 1 entree special to PARC donors who purchase the passport.

Restaurants already a part of Table for 2 include: The Bird & Bottle Inn, Garrison; Towne Crier Cafe, Pawling; Cathryn’s Tuscan Grill, Cold Spring; The River Grill, Newburgh; Dockside Pub, Mahopac; Jaipore Royal Indian Cuisine, Brewster; Tavern at Highlands Country Club, Garrison; Old Drovers Inn, Dover Plains; Stoneleigh Creek Restaurant, Croton Falls; Southeast Grille, Brewster Pamela’s on the Hudson, Newburgh; Susan’s, Peekskill; Granite Springs Inn, Granite Springs; Via Nove,

Fishkill; Fire on the Mountain, Stormville; Julianna’s, Cortlandt Manor; Arturo’s, Mahopac; Sukhothai, Beacon; Riverview, Cold Spring; Ciao Bella Cafe, Carmel.

“I grew up working in the restaurant business and I wanted to work directly with restaurant owners to create an exciting new dining out promotion, to drive new business during the middle of the week, and that would also benefit PARC,” said Rand Bridget Otten, PARC’s director of development. “Table for 2 is a wonderful way to dine out well, but at a great discount. Just present your Table for 2 passport, and the restaurant will take one dinner entree off your bill. It’s just that easy.”

The Table for 2 fine dining passport is $40 and is available for purchase at PARC’s website, www.PutnamARC.org and at PARC Center, Route 6, Carmel and PARC’s corporate offices at 31 International Blvd., Brewster. With free entrees at 20 restaurants, the book’s value is estimated to be over $400 in free meals. The passport, valid throughout 2007, is good weeknights only and is not available on weekends and holidays.
