County Website Adds Link to DEP
Putnam County Legislator Vincent Tamagna, in cooperation with William Harding, the Executive Director of the Watershed Protection and Partnership Council, announced that the City of New York Department of Environmental Protection’s website link has been added to the Putnam County Web Page, making rules, regulations and permit information conveniently accessible.
“This will enable Putnam County residents to review the DEP’s rules, regulations and permits for the use of Watershed properties and waterways. This is much more convenient and all changes to the DEP regulations can be quickly updated” said Tamagna. The link can be found by signing onto the “putnamcountyny.com” click on “Department” then “Parks & Recreation” the DEP’s link is on the “Parks” cover page. The link opens to the NYC Water Supply Watersheds/ Recreational Use & Permits page.
