Cold Spring Area Chamber Of Commerce Hosts Another Successful Holiday Party

The Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated another successful year at its annual holiday party on December 6, 2006. And with over 70 chamber members and their guests in attendance, it made for a lively and festive gathering.
The event was hosted this year by the staff of the Tavern at the Highlands Country Club. A holiday mood was created by candlelight, roaring fireplaces, plentiful holiday decorations and classic holiday carols and music, provided by Ricardo Productions DJs.
After the delicious buffet dinner, attendees made their
way to the auction tables, where the bidding was competitive on items including overnight stays to our local bed and breakfast establishments; plenty of dinners and brunches for 2; baskets of all sorts of goodies, from bath and body items to books; and even a few original pieces of artwork. The chamber would like to thank outgoing board member Camille Linson for again organizing a wonderful holiday auction. All totaled, this year’s silent auction raised over $2,100 to support the Chamber’s many events, activities, tourism promotion in our area.
