Kids’ Day at Putnam Hospital Center Raises $21,800
At the Putnam Hospital Center (PHC) Auxiliary’s recent Annual Meeting and Luncheon, PHC Auxiliary President Greta Upham presented PHC Foundation Executive Director Jeffrey D. Kellogg with a check for over $21,800, representing the amount raised in the organization’s first-ever Kids’ Day at PHC. The money is part of the PHC’s Auxiliary’s pledge to The Campaign for Tomorrow for the hospital’s new building project. The project includes construction of the five-story 113,000 square foot Camarda Care Center to house the hospital’s new cancer center with radiation oncology, enhanced cardiology services, a hospital/community use conference center, private patient rooms and physician offices; renovation of 20,000 square feet of existing space to enhance clinical programs; and the creation of 300 parking spaces. The PHC Auxiliary is planning its next Kids’ Day at PHC for May 5th.
