At the sold-out dinner event attended by 600 women, Anna Quindlen spoke on “Women in the 21” Century: The Balancing Act.” The healthcare forum for women was sponsored by Health Quest, the parent organization of Putnam Hospital Center (PHC), Northern Dutchess Hospital (NDH) and Vassar Brothers Medical Center (VBMC).
The forum also featured PHC endocrinologist Genevieve Lama, MD, on “The Diabetes Epidemic: What Every Woman Should Know”; NDH gynecologist Amy Novatt, MD, on “Health in Women: As We Age”; and VBMC internist Amelia Martinko, MD, on how to “Be the Best You Can Be: Health Tips for the Do-It-All Woman.”
