Belle Levine Art Center’s Offers Art Classes for Kids and Adults
The Belle Levine Art Center in Mahopac is a non-profit community Art Center providing creative programs and activities for people of all ages and ability levels. It’s affordable, the classes are small and the instructors are highly qualified professionals. Gift certificates are available.
The Winter Session starts the week of January 22 and classes generally run for 6 weeks. Adults may choose from watercolor, oil or acrylic painting, photography, pottery, mono-printing, life drawing from a model and basket weaving. There are a few more specialized one and two time workshops in creativity, painting critique and the Zen of Line and Brush.
Kids love the after school or Saturday classes in pottery, cartooning & drawing, painting and general art classes introducing them to a variety of art activities.
Treat your kids to the Winter Art Break. This year’s program runs for 4 days (Feb. 20- 23) during the school vacation from 10am to 2pm for children in Grades K-5. There will be projects in drawing, painting, mixed media, 3D constructions and more - incorporating music, discussion and stories. The best vacation ever.
