Holiday Season Services at First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown
There’s a Christmas Eve service to fit your needs at First Presbyterian Church of Philipstown:
-Christmas Eve Family Service at 10:30am. Children love this service as the songs and carols are geared for children.
-Traditional Candlelight Communion Service at 8:30pm. A beautiful service with the church lit by candles. This service features traditional holiday songs, carols and hymns sung by the choir and communion.
-9:30pm. Social and Coffee Hour
-Jazz Christmas service at 10:30 pm. For those who enjoy jazz and prefer a service with a little something different. In the spirit of our jazz vespers, this service has holiday songs, carols and hymns specially arranged with a jazz flair by music director and pianist Tom McCoy. This year’s special vocalist will be accompanied by Mike LaRocco on drums; Lou Scott, bass and Ed Xiques on sax.
-New Year’s Eve Service is Sunday Dec. 31st at 10:30am. This is an abbreviated service followed by an indoor labyrinth walk.
