BOCES Students & Citibank Reach Out to Blythedale Children’s Hospital

The Learning Center at Walden students at Putnam/ Northern Westchester Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) in Yorktown recently collaborated with Citibank to collect scores of holiday toys for young patients at Blythedale Children’s Hospital. Gifts included everything from Barbie dolls to board games to toy race cars. As part of the Community

Awareness programs at Putnam/ Northern Westchester BOCES, Walden students participate in numerous community service projects. The toy collection for Blythedale is an annual event that enjoys donations from BOCES’ staff and faculty as well as from Citibank. The gifts are wrapped by Walden students and delivered to Blythedale Children’s Hospital in Valhalla.
