Cold Spring Trutees Name Master Plan Special Board Members
At the December 12, 2006 monthly meeting of the Cold Spring Board of Trustees, Mayor Anthony Phillips announced the members of the Special Board that will be heading up the new Master Plan. They are Carol Casparian, Karen Doyle, Marie Early, Anne Impellizeri, Donald MacDonald, Stacey Matson-Zuvic, Marshall Mermell, Lillian Moser, Z.I. Sanchez, Liz Schevtchuk Armstrong and Ransom Taggart.
In addition to introducing the members of this Board, Mayor Phillips took the opportunity to thank all of the residents who applied to serve on the board, and to say he hoped that they will continue to work on the Master Plan as the year progresses. He also recognized the hard work on the part of many residents who have been instrumental in laying much of the groundwork for what will take place as the Master Plan progresses.
One of the first things that the new Special Board will do is to set up committees that will deal with specific areas of interest or concern for the entire Village. Once formed, there will be notices in both the PCN&R and at Village Hall to inform all residents of when and where the meetings will take place.
