Cold Spring Chamber of Commerce Announces Board of Directors for 2007
The Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the board of directors for 2007. Elections for board members took place at the Chamber’s annual holiday party on Wednesday, December 6, 2006. The board of directors positions were determined by the elected members at the board’s monthly meeting on December 14, 2006. The positions are as follows and our congratulations to our new and returning board members:
The Board unanimously approved the election of new officers, as follows:
Cathryn Fadde, President
Marshall Mermell, Vice President Robert Lomino, Treasurer
Nat Prentice, Secretary
Board Members for 2007 include: Michelle Folster, Randi Schlesinger, Rand Bridget Otten, Randall Chiera, and Gillian Thorpe.
The Board commended Vinny Tamagna and Camille Linson for their outstanding service to the Board as Vice President and Secretary, respectively, in 2006. Legislator Tamagna stepped down as a member of the board of directors during the December 14, 2006 meeting, to make room for new board member, Randall Chiera, lead attorney of Chiera & Associates, which is based in Putnam Valley. Tamagna will continue to report to the board as government liaison. Linson will continue to assist the board with bylaws and legal review.

The Cold Spring Area Chamber of Commerce was incorporated nearly 100 years ago and represents small business owners, non-profit organizations, and professionals in many fields throughout the Town of Philipstown. The Chamber actively promotes Cold Spring and the surrounding area as both a tourist destination and a thriving community in which to live and work. They sponsor events throughout the year, provide opportunities for local businesses to network and learn from one another, and engage in many projects and activities designed to make the community a better place.
The Chamber will host its first membership mixer of 2007 on Thursday, January 18, 2006. Networking beings at 6pm, followed by mixer, meeting and guest speaker, Rochelle Togo- Figa, Sales Expert, Trainer and Creator of The Sales Breakthrough System. Location to be announced.
