New York State Parks Welcomes Anglers
Trout Season Begins April 1
Carol Ash, Acting Commissioner of the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, encourages anglers to visit state parks as trout season opens this year. April 1 marks the beginning of trout season in the Empire State. Lakes, ponds, streams and creeks in 54 state parks and historic sites promise an outstanding year for fishing across New York.
