Quilting Presentation at East Fishkill Library
Regular business hours on Come to the East Fishkill Community Library on Friday, February 2, 2007 at 7pm to meet quilt artist Carol Weber. Trained as an art teacher, Weber has been quilting for many years and has won awards for her work throughout the Northeast.
Her Van Gogh Landscape Quilt was exhibited at a Somers show this past year, and mentioned as one of the highlights of the show by the New York Times. She prefers creating original art quilts to the traditional piecing method of quilt making. A number of her prizewinning pieces will be on exhibit for the month of February.
Friday are 10-6. The Library will reopen at 7pm for the reception. (Sorry, no other library business will be transacted at that time). Please register online at

The library is located at 348 Route 376 in Hopewell Junction. Library hours are Monday - Thursday 10am-8pm, Friday 10am-6pm, and Saturday 10am-5pm.
