Davis Continues to Fail the People of Putnam Valley
To the Editor:
Darren Rigger has quite an imagination. In a letter to the editor last week, Rigger (you know him, failed candidate for Congress and now an assistant to Congressman John Hall), compared our own Sam Davis to former President Bill Clinton! Folks, it just doesn’t get any better than this! For Rigger to defend Supervisor Davis and his egregious acts shows that Rigger is disconnected from Putnam Valley.
Town Supervisor Sam Davis continues to fail the people of Putnam Valley. Economically - Davis recently proposed a 21% tax increase during the budget hearings. Environmentally - Davis has failed to alleviate the salt contamination issue for the residents of Oscawana Lake Road. Administratively - Davis has alienated his support base and virtually every one of the employees at Town Hall.
To fault the Putnam Valley Republican Committee for Davis’ foolishness is a sad commentary on the part of Rigger. Davis has himself to blame for the mess he has created and Rigger needs to educate himself on the issues that affect our community.
