My Fake ID's at the Philipstown Depot Theatre

Margaret (Copeland) Gallo is bringing her one woman show My Fake ID's to the Depot Theatre Friday January 12 at 7:30pm. WOR Radio says, "It's wonderful. Very funny. Not only because she is funny, but because she has so much wisdom. My Fake ID'S is about growing up."

Drowning in the personalities of five sisters, two goats, a Southern gentleman father, an outspoken Italian mother, and assorted reptiles and boyfriends, writer-comedian Margaret Gallo comes up for air and hears a sound she's never heard before… her own voice.

This twenty-year-old performs a sensitive yet hilarious comedy that appeals to the teenager in all of us. MY FAKE IDs began its life Off-Broadway at The Lamb's Theatre in Times Square. Since then, Margaret has gone on to perform the show across the country including The Lamb's Theatre in NYC, Ocean Grove in NJ, The Salvation Army Theatre Camp, Fire UP 2005 in Michigan, and her favorite, The Depot Theatre.

Margaret Copeland an actress /comedian / writer, is a Junior at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She will be studying in Rome, Italy next semester. She plans to finish her senior year at Baylor and then possibly attend graduate school for playwriting. In the next year she hopes to write My Fake ID's into a screen play.

Margaret is interested in sharing her experiences with teens and will hold a Q&A after the 7:30pm show for all who are interested. Tickets are $15 Adults, $12 Seniors and $10 for students. Please call the Philipstown Depot Theatre at 845-424-3900 for reservations.
