Brewster Library Continues Chess Classes
The Brewster Public Library is pleased to announce that chess classes will continue at the Brewster Public Library located at 79 Main Street, Brewster on Thursday afternoons starting on February 1 and ending April 26, 2007. The chess classes will be taught by Dave Wilder and are designed to teach students the fundamentals of chess, key opening game strategies, and principles of middle and end game play.
Classes willl begin at 4:30pm and end at 6pm and are open to ages 7 and above. A registration fee of $20 per child or $30 per family is required for this program. Children should attend all 10 sessions. Space is limited so please register early. For more information about this program and other programs offered at the library, please call 279-6421.
