Putnam County Dept. of Health's Certified Home Health Agency Excels Ranked Among Top 25% Of Home Health Providers In Country
The Putnam County Department of Health today announced that its Certified Home Health Agency has been named to the 2006 HomeCare Elite, the inaugural compilation of the most successful home care providers in the country. This ground-breaking review names the Medicare-certified agencies whose performance measures in quality, improvement and financial performance are among the top 25% of providers nationwide. Additionally, the 2006 HomeCare Elite indicates those providers ranked in the Top 100 and Top 500 of providers nationwide.

The Putnam County Department of Health CHHA has been serving the needs of Putnam County's frail elderly and others who have needed the agency's services since 1969. Home care typically follows a hospital stay and provides clients with nursing care, physical, speech pathology and occupational therapy services, home health aides to assist with personal care and other needs, and social work services.
